ACEs & Trauma: Making Policy Reality

Continuing from February's event, Adverse Childhood Experiences: Preventing, Responding, Reversing, which familiarised us with the subject, this event widens the focus to explore trauma-informed approaches.

Addressing adverse childhood experiences and understanding trauma-informed approaches are currently significant priorities for our members, commissioners and the Welsh Government.

This event will build on the excellent work of our member organisations and explore best practice for working with people with experience of adverse childhood experiences, and look at implementing changes in our working practice based on the ACEs theory.

There are a wide range of different workshops, plenaries and interactive discussions planned, looking how ACEs affect people, and how this knowledge informs our work. The programme will include sessions on restorative approaches, psychologically-informed environments and reflective practice.

Join Cymorth Cymru for a full day of vital information, collaboration, skill sharing and networking, with quality lunch and refreshments provided.
