- 4-10 October 2010
What is it?
Life Begins @ Home is designed to raise public awareness of housing-related support services in Wales, and is a celebration of organisations' achievements in supporting vulnerable people in addressing difficulties and developing more healthy, secure and independent lifestyles. Increasingly, organisations are recognising the valuable role that participation in the arts can play in this process.

LB@H Week Art Exhibition
The 2010 Life Begins @ Home Week art exhibition will take place at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay, from the 4th to the 10th of October and will be officially opened on the 5th September at 6pm.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity to showcase some of the very best artwork made by people engaged with housing-related support services in Wales, including outreach, accommo-dation and day services. It is intended to celebrate the talent and creativity of service users, and to help improve public awareness of the work carried out by the many housing-related support, homelessness and supported living services operating across the country.
The general theme of the exhibition will be Home, though this may be interpreted very freely and should not be seen as restrictive - work on any subject may be submitted for the show, and any style or medium is welcome. For example, we invite people to submit drawings, paintings, poetry, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewellery, printmaking, or whatever you fancy (subject to re-strictions outlines in the entry form).
The public will be invited to vote for their favourite artwork, and prizes will be awarded for the most popular pieces.
If you have clients who would like to submit work for the 2010 Life Begins @ Home Week Art Ex-hibition, please download the art exhibition form.
Deadline for submission of art entry forms is Monday 6th September 2010.
