14th June 2011

In a challenging economic public spending climate, everyone is under increasing pressure to be able to evaluate and demonstrate the value of their services – but how? This one day event will outline some of the key developments in this area including evaluating outcomes, social return on Investment and results based accounting.

Key themes include:

  • The outcome framework for SP funded services becomes mandatory in 2012; learn from organisations that have already gone through the journey
  • What is “results based accountability” and how could it relate to the work the sector does?
  • How can “mystery shopping” help you evaluate and improve your services and what benefit can it bring service users?
  • “Social return on investment” – what is it and what can it tell you about the value of what you do?
  • Lean working evaluates how well your processes deliver for your service users – hear from practitioners how it has helped them improve their services
