The Promoting Independence Awards (PIA's) 2011 is a joint event between Cymorth Cymru and Welsh Local Authorities.
The aim of the event is to raise the profile of the Housing-related support, Homelessness and Supported living sector and to showcase and celebrate the amazing work that is being done within the sector to help some of the most vulnerable members of our society.
There will be 10 awards presented:
- The Private Sector Partnership Award 2011
- The Homelessness Prevention Award 2011
- The Service User Involvement Award 2011
- Working with Excluded Groups Award 2011
- The Supported Living Award 2011
- Improving Access to Employment, Training and Skills Award 2011
- The Local Champion Award 2011
- The Inspirational Colleague Award 2011
- The Creativity Award 2011
- The Good Commissioning Award 2011

Costs per person are:
- Cymorth Cymru Members & Local Authorities: £35 + VAT
- Third Sector Organisations (Non-members): £45 + VAT
- Private Sector Organisations (Non-member): £55 + VAT
