Aim of the Day

 

The event will focus on improving understanding across the homelessness and mental health sectors, encouraging dialogue between individual professionals, and promoting more effective joint-working between homelessness and mental health services.

 

Whilst acknowledging that a number of difficulties currently exist in many parts of the country, the event will be positive, solution-based and mutually beneficial to all delegates.

The Welsh National Homelessness Awards 2007 was held at the Hilton Hotel, Cardiff on the 6th December and the evening went down a storm!

Specific Interest Groups
The Media Resource Centre, Llandrindod Wells

Four Specific Interest Groups were established last year in response to requests from members to provide organisations with an opportunity to discuss issues they face and feed into Cymorth’s work. The groups currently meeting are:

• Older Person’s housing and support needs
• Women and Children in supported housing
• Human Resources in supported housing
• Supported Housing Finance

The groups are only open to any person working for a Cymorth member organisation and there is no charge for attending. We hope these groups will be the first four of many. For more information or to book your place, contact Karen – karendronfield@cymorthcymru.org.uk
