Joy Kent Director
Joy Kent has been the Director of Cymorth Cymru since it developed from an informal network to a company limited by guarantee in 2004. Before working for Cymorth she was Policy and Professional Practice Officer at the Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru. Joy has also worked in social policy for the Welsh Local Government Association and housing policy and research for the Welsh Assembly Government. She was previously on the board of V2C and recently became a board member of WCVA. Joy also chairs the WCVA facilitated Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Network.
Policy
Nicola Evans Policy Information Manager
Nicola works on behalf of Cymorth members with policymakers and those influencing the policy agenda to influence national policy developments. In particular drafting consultation responses and contributing to policy forums and ensuring members’ views are well researched and represented.
Development
Mike Vigar Service Development Manager
Mike’s role is to work with Cymorth members in developing new services which better meet the needs of their service users and/or assist organisations in reaching their business growth/sustainability goals.
Membership
Siân Wilton Events Manager
Siân role is to develop, deliver and market, a relevant and innovative conference and events programme that informs both Cymorth members and the sector.
Professional Development
Ian Simpson Training Manager (will start in post - 8 May 2012)
Ian co-ordinates the delivery of a range of training courses through an essential and relevant programme aimed for housing-related support, homelessness and supported living services in Wales.
Central Services
Karen Dronfield Central Services Manager
Karen deals with finance, the day to day running of the office and Governance issues. If you have an accounting query’s please contact her.
Lisa Noice Administrative Officer
Lisa assists the team in all areas of administration and co-ordinates bookings for the events and training programmes.
