FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS – WOMEN’S SERVICES
These posts are exempt under s.7 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975
Cardiff
Salary £20,502 - £22,565 per annum, based on a 35 hour working week
2 posts [1 x Permanent and 1 x Temporary maternity cover]
Due to internal promotion an opportunity has arisen for a permanent Female Support Worker. We also have a temporary position that is expected to last a minimum period of 12 months.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support to women with a range of support needs. In addition to the knowledge, skills and experience outlined in the person specification you must have
- knowledge of issues facing women who are homeless
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- experience of support planning and engaging those with complex needs
- excellent organizational and prioritisation skills and
- a professional approach and attitude
