Homelessness & Health: Beyond Boundaries

We're taking bookings for our next event.

This annual event aims to link between support for homelessness, housing and health. A series of talks and workshops attempt to break down barriers and bring people together. 

Speakers confirmed already include:

  • Tracey Breheny from Welsh Government, on the strategic commitment by mental health and substance misuse services to ending homelessness;
  • Fiona Kinghorn from Cardiff & Vale University Health Board & Jane Thomas from Cardiff Council, on the background and the formation of the Cardiff Multi-Disciplinary Homelessness Team;
  • Dr. Caroline Shulman from Pathway, on how organisations can support people experiencing both homelessness and terminal illness;
  • Rob Barker-Williams from Barod, on evidence for Drug Consumption Rooms and what that could mean for the way we work with substances in Wales;
  • Stephen Campbell from Cais, on how organisations tackle the use of Spice in Wrexham;
  • Lucy Harrison from Bristol Royal Infirmary Homeless Support team, on the Bristol Homelessness Engagement team and how homelessness and health is addressed across the border.
