Promoting Independence Awards 2015

Radisson Blu, Cardiff

On Friday 4 December, over 200 people attended the 9th annual Promoting Independence Awards (PIAs).

A joint initiative between Welsh local authorities and charity Cymorth Cymru, the Promoting Independence Awards (PIAs) recognise and celebrate the work being carried out within the homelessness, housing and social care sectors to support vulnerable people to overcome barriers and fulfil their potential.

This year the awards attracted more than 70 nominations, demonstrating the wide range of services that are available to support people who are marginalised, isolated or experiencing housing crisis.
