This is a permanent position for 37 hours per week The exact salary for this role is £24,400 per annum Hours are between Monday to Friday days, but full flexibility is required to meet the needs of the people we support and the service The role will primarily be working across the M4 corridor at various prison environments. Our team provide a high-quality homelessness prevention service to people entering custody to ensure that we maximise their ability to sustain their tenancies whilst in custody. You will work closely with Local Authorities, landlords / letting agencies and benefit agencies to ensure good working relationships and partnership opportunities are developed. Co-located in Temporary Accommodation venues with an expectation to travel across Cwm Taf Morgannwg. We have an office base in Merthyr Tydfil and in Pontypridd. The project applies Mind’s Resilience Model to develop and enable personal resilience and to prevent homelessness, using a psycho-educational approach and providing guided self-help strategies, whilst working alongside people experiencing trauma, mental health and complex social needs.
