We are searching for a Planning Manager (Repairs) to join our Property Services Team on a permanent basis. The role will be full-time, working 36 hours per week with the option to work a 9-day fortnight (work a 4 day week every other week!) The role is currently working from home but in future will require some work from our head office in Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff. This job offers a salary of £28,000 per annum with excellent benefits.

What you'll do

You will lead our team of four planners to deliver a right first time service for our customer repairs. This includes the planning of repairs, maintenance, voids and planned works to ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards for our customers and colleagues. This is a new role which we have created to support our Property Services Team to support us as we improve our services to and make sure they are fit for the future. You will drive the adoption and improvement of the systems used to manage our works orders and in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our service. You'll run reports and analyse data in order to support evidence based decision making and to track performance. What you'll need You’ll have the strong numerical and analytical skills and an inquisitive and pro-active approach to learning new systems and seeking ways in which to maximise their efficiency. You will use your strong attention to detail to pick up discrepancies or see where human intervention is required, and you will use your ability to build and maintain good working relationships in order to work with other business areas with the goal of a right first time repairs service. Ideally, you will have experience of coaching and developing others, or a team-leader or people management role.
