NEW: COVID-19 guidance for homelessness and substance misuse services

This evening the Welsh Government published new COVID-19 guidance for homelessness and substance misuse services in Wales. This is likely to be updated and expanded as the situation progresses and new public health advice emerges. We are continuing to work with Welsh Government officials to inform their understanding and response to the challenges faced by the homelessness, housing and support sector. Existing Welsh Government guidance for social or community care and residential settings can be accessed here.

COVID-19 information in 20 languages

Doctors of the World has produced Coronavirus (COVID-19) advice for patients in 20 languages, which were produced in partnership with the British Red Cross, Migrant Help and Clear Voice. The guidance is based on the government’s updated advice and health information. We really hope it will help to ensure this important guidance reaches migrant and asylum-seeking communities in the UK.

Housing First Europe Hub has published a document about how to use telephone and digital technology to give the best possible support to HousingFirst clients. It was produced by HogarSi, a FEANTSA member and Housing First Europe Hub partner.
Download the document here.

We are in regular contact with Welsh Government officials from housing, health (including substance misuse) and VAWDASV about COVID-19. Please let us know if there are particular issues you would like us to raise with them.
