Welsh Government publishes road map out of lockdown

The Welsh Government has published 'Unlocking our society and economy: continuing the conversation', which outlines its proposed ‘traffic light’ approach to lifting lockdown. It builds on 'Leading Wales out of the coronavirus pandemic: a framework for recovery', which was published on April 24th. 

Welsh Government: Test Trace Protect

The Welsh Government has announced its new strategy for testing the general public and tracing the spread of coronavirus in Wales.

The Welsh Government has provided additional guidance about the £40million funding for Adult Social Care to meet the additional costs arising from COVID-19. 

Welsh Government announcement: Testing extended to all care homes

The Welsh Government has announced that COVID-19 testing will be extended to all care home residents and staff in Wales, following the latest scientific evidence. 

DWP letter: Information and support during COVID-19

The Department for Work and Pensions has written to us to highlight where our members can access information and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter is available in Welsh and in English

Welsh Government guidance: Getting financial help during COVID-19

The Welsh Government has published guidance about getting financial help to pay bills during the coronavirus pandemic, including information for if you are currently working, self-employed, ill and cannot work, been made redundant or on furlough. 

Welsh Government guidance for renters

The Welsh Government has published: 

  • Evictions: Guidance for people who are worried about being evicted or being threatened with eviction during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Repairs: Guidance about repairs to people's rented home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Coronavirus and Me’ - survey of young people during COVID-19 pandemic 

Welsh Government has teamed up with the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Children in Wales and the Welsh Youth Parliament to design a nation-wide online survey asking Wales’ children and young people for their views and opinions during the Coronavirus pandemic.
