On Friday the First Minister announced that the current COVID-19 restrictions will continue, following the latest three-week review of the regulations.

Following the approval of the Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine the Welsh Government has published more information about its roll-out. The Minister for Health and Social Services has also published a written statement about vaccine deployment in Wales.
Over the past few weeks we have been making representations to the Welsh Government about vaccinating homelessness and housing-related support staff in Wales. We are having positive discussions with officials and believe we are making progress on this issue. We hope to have some more news on this very soon and will update members as soon as we do.
We know that lots of people who have experienced sustained homelessness have underlying health conditions which may put them into one of the priority groups for the vaccination.
FOR ACTION: Please support people who are using your services to register with local health services so they are offered a vaccine when they become eligible. This is particularly important for people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable or clinically vulnerable.
