Case studies are a great way to raise awareness of the services delivered by our members. We are always looking for case studies that emphasise the importance of these services and the essential support they provide to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Pendinas is a hostel in Bangor. Run by North Wales Housing Association, it provides support and accommodation for eight vulnerable homeless people who have complex needs.
Audrey couldn’t afford to sustain her private tenancy and was homeless before she moved into the Pendinas hostel.
Noddfa Hostel in Colwyn Bay provides temporary, supported housing accommodation for single homeless people and families who are vulnerable and need support. Noddfa is managed by North Wales Housing.
James* had been a carer for his elderly mother, sadly she passed away and her house had to be sold. He had no other family that he could stay with and as a result he became street homeless.
