Cymorth Cymru works with service providers, policy makers and partners to prevent homelessness and improve the quality of life for the people our members support.
Cymorth plays a key ‘linking’ role, strengthening the capacity of members by connecting them with wider issues and debates within the UK, Europe and elsewhere, and holding events that share best practice and key learnings.
Connecting up the threads of policy work across different sectors is increasingly important. This is something that we are well placed to do and it will continue to be a priority for us.
We also practice and promote effective partnership working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our members and the people they support. Find out who we work with
Cymorth is committed to strengthening and challenging the sector by offering high quality training and events on current issues and good practice. Our training and events programme is shaped by members and designed to meet your knowledge and networking needs.
Our regular, targeted communications ensure that our members are kept abreast of the latest sector developments and key policy and legislative updates.
Cymorth Cymru acts as the ‘voice of the sector’, using evidence-based research to influence the development and implementation of policy that impacts on our members and the people they support.
We focus on joining up the threads of our key policy areas across Welsh Government priority programmes – making sure our members are supported, and their views and priorities are reflected at all levels and across all related issues
We also work to increase public support for our members and the people they support. We do this by promoting the positive impact of our members’ services and through our campaigning and awareness raising work.
