5 February 2026 | Leonardo Hotel, Cardiff | In Person

We are delighted to announce that Public Health Wales and Cymorth Cymru will be holding an Inclusion Health Summit on 5th February 2026 at the Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff.

This event will focus on how we can better meet the needs of people who experience multiple disadvantage and traditionally find it difficult to access health services, including people experiencing homelessness, people in contact with the criminal justice system, refugees and asylum seekers, sex workers, and Roma, Gypsy and Travelling people.

The summit will provide a platform for people with lived experience, as well as frontline workers and senior decision makers from the NHS, public health and third sector to share their views and experiences. Together, we will explore the challenges and opportunities, as well as showcasing good practice, with the aim of improving the lives and health outcomes of people who face multiple disadvantage.

The report from last year’s Inclusion Health Summit can be accessed in English and in Welsh.

This year’s programme will include:

  • Inclusion health in Ireland
  • Developing a flexible, open access mental health model
  • Involving experts by experience
  • Supporting sexual violence survivors
  • Continuity of healthcare in the criminal justice system
