Over the coming weeks and months, the Welsh Government will be publishing its budget for 2027/28 – and we all need to make the case for an increase in funding for homelessness and housing support services.
Cymorth Cymru and Community Housing Cymru have published our Home Matters report, which outlines the need for a 16% increase in the Homelessness Support and Prevention budget in the Welsh Government’s upcoming budget for 2027/28. The report shines a light on the significant pressures facing homelessness and housing support providers, including higher costs, funding constraints, a huge growth in demand, and an increase in the complexity of people’s support needs.
What can you do to help?
We know from experience of winning previous campaigns that Members of the Senedd are more likely to throw their weight behind an issue if they hear from people and services within their constituency.
